Strength and Conditioning
No combat sports athlete’s training programme is complete without a well managed conditioning system. Our Strength and Conditioning classes are designed for anyone wishing to compete in martial arts whether that be BJJ, submission grappling, MMA or any other combat sport.
This is not a generic fitness programme. It is specifically designed to improve your strength and conditioning whilst enhancing the core movements required in stand up, clinch work and the ground game.
We use a unique training method based on momentum, rapid eccentric loading and three-dimensional motion, which is designed to enhance natural human movement to make you a stronger and more powerful athlete. You will learn a wide variety of techniques that will give you incredible strength and stamina. Classes are suitable for all abilities from absolute novices to professional competitors, as long as you are prepared to work hard.
Kettlebell Classes
Kettlebells are an old school method of training. Used by the Russians for centuries, their reputation as a training tool is formidable. During these effective classes, you will learn a wide variety of techniques that will give you incredible strength and stamina, improve your movement and posture, burn fat and get you fit! If you have never picked up a kettlebell before, you will be amazed how much they can push your physical limits. Classes are suitable for all abilities.
